Birthday Card

Hello Friends,

It has been a while I posted something on my blog.  With 2 kids, I hardly get time to craft and blog.  It is either one of them that I can manage to do apart from doing the regular stuff :).  I have been making few cards, but haven't had time to post them.  I will try to post most of them today.

This card is a birthday card made for my daughter's friend.  I used the Paper Doll Dressup cart. I also added pink glitter to the crown and wand. Had to have some rhinestones for the gems :) and ofcourse some pink blush to the cheeks.  I used some pink chalk for the blush. Hope you like it.

Door Hanger

Hello Friends,

Here is a door hanger that was made by my 4 yr old daughter for her room. I cut the door hanger using the Tags,Bags, Boxes & More cart. My daughter enjoys doing crafts with me so I left it to her how she wanted to design it.  It was her idea to add the punched hearts and the 4 little butterfly stickers at the bottom. She said that those butterflies signify our family(Papa Butterfly, Mama Butterfly, Sister and Brother butterflies) and she wanted the entire family to be in her room :). She added few more stickers for the name.  We used the scallop circle punch to cut the flowers and used some prima flowers to decorate it.  Hope you guys like it.

Momo's Tuesday Challenge

Hello Friends,

Here is a card I made for Momo's Tuesday Challenge. The Challenge was to make a card using  heat or dry embossing. I used the heat embossing technique for the border of the card.  I can't remember the name of the stamp set as I bought it some time last year and threw away the packaging.  I stamped the image using versa mark ink and used gold embossing powder. The frame's were cut from the Joy's of the Season Cartridge. I used a dimensional sticker for the message inside the frame. Hope you like it.

Cardstock: PaperTrey Ink
Pattern Paper: Basic Grey Elmo Kisses
Ink: Versamark
Embossing Powder: Gold Tinsel
Season's Greetings Sticker: Recollections

Halloween Treat Bags

Hello Friends,

I know this is a bit late for posting something about Halloween since everyone is getting ready for the holidays, but I had to share these treat bags that I made for daughter's classmates in preschool.  I made 12 of these bags.  It was a last minute decision, hence I used the brown bags instead of the regular goody bags.  Moreover, I figured 4 yr old's really dont care about the bags than the treats inside :).  I cut the pumpkin at 3.5 inches and layered it. I cut the top of the paper bag about couple of inches to make it small and also cut the edges to give some pattern.

Kid's Card

Hello Friends,

Today I am going to share the card my 4 yr old daughter designed last night(mommy only helped her with assembling the card). After going through the few cartridges I own, she picked "Create a Critter" cart and decided to go with the cute cow image.  She picked the cardstock, pattern paper, colors of the cow.  I was really impressed with her color selections. When all the images were cut and we were ready to assemble it, she suggested that the card should have the green grass. So, we added that too.. and here is the card my little princess made.  I think it looks cute.  What do you think?

Card base : A2 Size
Cricut Cart: Create-a-Critter, Plaintain Schoolbook

Baby Shower Decorations

Hello Everyone!  A couple of weeks ago, I threw a surprise baby shower party for my sister-in-law.  I made this centerpiece using my cricut expression.  I think it turned out nice and cute.  I do not have the baby arrival cartridge so I made these with doddlecharms and wildcart cartridges.  Surrounded the centerpiece with few plush toys.

I also made the diaper cake  and decorated it few Prima flowers and toy ducks.
